Should I Put My Request In More Than Once?
Yes. Our request list is refreshed every Sunday as new orders are carried out. It’s best to call with your request once a week Mon - Sat for the greatest chances of us being able to receive it within the next 2 weeks if immediately available from our breeders.
When Is This Online List Refreshed?
Weekly - Every Thursday after all shipments have been scheduled for the following week.
If It’s On The List, Does That Also Mean It’s In Stock?
No, Unfortunately, our breeders may make mistakes, or otherwise fail to send us any given species on our order forms. This is unpredictable. To avoid any inconveniences, give us a call at (216) - 433 - 1340 on the date your species ‘type’ may arrive according to the shipment calendar above to find out if they’ve arrived yet.
Will RMS Call Me When My Fish Comes In?
No. Due to the demand for fish requests, we are unable to make phone calls for requested fish. In order to better accommodate our customers - we designed this list of fulfilled requests as a general and anonymous way to let everyone know when we are able to fulfill any requests made. Remember - depending on the request, stocking may be limited and species sales are made on the basis of ‘first come, first served.’
Why Do I Have To Wait For An Animal I Requested?
Unfortunately, we can only order in and receive species of animals that our breeders currently have available for sale. Some species are seasonal, and are only available for a short time throughout the year.
Our fish orders are completed 2 - 3 weeks in advance. We do this to ensure we can properly plan for and accommodate our shipments, but it also means the order that will have your requested species listed will potentially be scheduled for 2 or 3 weeks after your initial request date - if, of course - the species is also available at that time.
